Purple Shirt Day

Purple Day is an international grassroots campaign held annually on March 26 to increase epilepsy awareness, reduce stigma, and support those affected by the neurological disorder. Founded in 2008 by nine-year-old Cassidy Megan, people worldwide are encouraged to wear purple—the international color for epilepsy—to show support.
